Membership in Fort Dearborn Basset Hound Club is open to any basset hound lover whether you own a basset hound or not. There are no requirements to own a dog or to show your dog. In fact many of our members are pet owners who just love the breed. The club holds six membership meetings per year. The purpose of the club meetings are twofold, first to take care of any club business such as the planning of our annual Specialty Show. Second and most importantly, to discuss issues pertaining to our breed and to also enjoy the fellowship of our members and their dogs. Membership dues are $20.00 for single or family membership. Membership also entitles you to receive the club newsletter “The Howling Hound”. Please complete the application, print and mail it with your payment to:
